Conveniently close to the beach, sea, and a fantastic restaurant, making the location perfect. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful! 🌊

The room had a TV and a kettle, and it's in a great location, close to everything we needed.

The location was perfect for exploring Islay and even Jura by car, and it was easy to walk to three distilleries. The staff, although not on-site, were knowledgeable and welcoming, even bringing us bacon rolls in the mornings.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with the addition of a microwave to heat up food, especially since there aren't a lot of restaurants in town.

The location was mind-blowing - just a stone's throw from the ferry terminal and a Co-op store nearby. The room had all the amenities we needed, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. The views from the window were jaw-dropping, and the powerful shower was a pleasant surprise. Niall, the host, was super helpful and accommodating, even holding the room for us when our flight was canceled. The locals were friendly and happy to give us insider tips. PERFECT for walkers and cyclists with stunning scenery. We will definitely visit again.

Friendly staff and welcoming host make you feel at home. The location is superb, just a 5-minute stroll to Islay Golf Club ⛳️.

This place is located right by the seashore, with easy access to SeaSalt and Islay and even Jura by car, the staff here is very helpful, and the breakfast options were great.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful beach just a stone's throw away. The location was also very convenient, with a restaurant, takeaway, pub, and post office all within walking distance. It was the perfect base for exploring the city and conveniently located near the start of a popular walking trail. Another advantage was the warm hospitality of the host, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provided us with delicious breakfasts.

While the room itself was comfortable, the decor felt a bit bland and could benefit from some pictures or decorations to brighten it up. it would have been helpful to have a microwave or another means of heating up food, especially considering there was a co-op nearby.

This guest house is biker-friendly and offers a big room with bay views. The owner is friendly and informative, even providing tables and cutlery in the room. Enjoy takeaways with beach views or grab vegan options nearby. Feel secure with roadside parking and cherish the warm bread buns brought to your room.

We had an amazing stay at Eilidh's! The location was fantastic with a great view overlooking the silver sands of the bay. Niall, the owner, was incredibly helpful, providing us with information on how to get to the island when the ferry was diverted. The guest house itself was well-equipped for self-catering, with a convenient Co-op just 100m away. The room had a lovely table and crockery/cutlery set in the window, allowing us to enjoy our meals whilst admiring the view. Niall even dropped off toast and warm bread buns in the mornings. We felt safe leaving our bikes inside, and the guest house was biker-friendly, just minutes from the ferry.

Spent Xmas here, loved the cozy room with a large bathroom and a powerful shower. The locals were friendly and helpful, giving us all the info we needed. The location was perfect for walkers and cyclists, surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The full-length mirror was missing, and the bathroom mirror was too high to see our faces. It would have been nice to have a mirror to check our outfits.
